Also if there would be a way for users to create their own artwork, so there can be a way for people to share their creativity, and also nail the aesthetic on their Home Screen just how they want it. I think having customizable art work would be an awesome idea, and a great way for people to share their artistic talent and help others complete their Home Screen. And I do t think many people will be desperate enough to to pay that much just to make their home screen and widgets be aesthetically pleasing.

It seems like people mostly download this app for customizable pictures in their widgets. But sometimes it will turn grey. Also it has bugs that need to be fixed.

Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately the grey boxes are a frustration to us too. Sometimes it means that the app can't find the widget you are showing just make sure that you have selected a current one in the app.

We are working to see if there's anything more we can fix on our end but it might just be an iOS14 issue as well. So sorry about that! We have made a help video in the "Get Help" area of the app to help you understand how to customize and add widgets to your home screen - hopefully that is helpful too!

Thanks for your patience as we continue to work to improve the app! Overall, the app is good. I like the customizable nature of the app, my home screen looks a lot better since downloading it. The only technical issue I have encountered is that my large widget for my reminders seems to glitch at random points and not list any of my scheduled items.

This is not a constant issue, but it does happen every once in a while, as well as taking a while to update once I add a new reminder. The only other complaints I have are a matter of further improving aesthetic and perhaps some future ideas, none of which are deal-breakers for me, but would improve my experience with the app.

My third wish is that the widgets could have customizable shortcuts, so that when I select them, I am taken to the app that corresponds to the widget, rather than simply opening the widgetsmith app. Nonetheless, I recommend this app. It makes me happy to see my home screen much more organized and customized to my aesthetic. I much preferred this app to others similar to it.

Thanks for the feedback - it's always great to hear that Widgetsmith has made people enjoy their home screen aesthetic! We are working on finding any other areas where we can improve on our end and iOS14 keeps getting better too so hopefully you'll have fewer glitches in the future - make sure to update the app as we ship updates! Other available widgets include a photo album or single photo display, custom test and tide times.

Widgetsmith integrates with Apple Health, so you can use the app's widget to display information about your ring activity throughout the day. An interesting option for you to experiment with is the ability to schedule a widget to change throughout the day. You might, for instance, want to see you calendar and weather when you first get up in the morning, but then switch to your calendar and world clocks as a the day progresses.

There's lots of potential for experimentation here. Widgetsmith is a very nice idea, and it is reasonably well-implemented. If you're happy being limited to a single widget, you can stick with the free version, but you'll probably find you want more. Speed up, optimise and repair your computer with this all-in-one PC maintenance and tweaking tool.

It's been around for a long time, but with the release of iOS 14 and the ability to add widgets to the home screen, many people are now pairing the two functionalities to create a unique home screen. Once you've got all your materials handy, start cleaning your home screen.

Do this until your screen is clear. Apple's support page offers more help if you need it. Now we can begin the process of actually creating your new home screen. Let's start by setting that new wallpaper you picked out in step two. Apple also has a support page here with more details if you need it. So, now you should have a bunch of custom widgets and apps on your home screen.

Hold down on one of the widgets, then select Edit Home Screen from the pop-up menu, and while each of your apps and widgets wiggle, slide them around or to your dock until you get the layout you want. Easy peasy! Thankfully, with the most recent version of iOS 14, Apple removed the biggest 'gothca'. Any shortcut icons used to load the Siri Shortcut interface first, before taking to the app. With iOS If you see the Siri Shortcut screen first you're probably still running an older version of software.

Oh, and because you can't see the names of the custom apps you've placed in the dock at the bottom of your phone, you'll have to memorise what you put there, so we suggest using easily recognisable icons for those particular apps. You also see the "Widgetsmith" name below a widget, even if you pay up. Color Widget is the same, unfortunately.

The only other downside to using Widgetsmith and Shortcuts to customise your iPhone home screen?
